The cast iron smoker box is measured 8"x5x1" -- made in China of course. It works ! What I did I soaked wood chips, put them in the box and placed under the grilling rack -- right ontop of the gas burners. The resulted smoked favored chicken tastes unbelivable! Can't wait to try with ribs and beef. Like I said the box is cast iron.
